Ann (unk) married William Boatwright c. 1743. Her date and place of birth are unproven. She died after 1800 in Hanover County, Virginia. William Boatwright was the son of John Boatwright and wife Sarah Dyer. He was born c. 1712 in New Kent County, Virginia, and died before 1789 in Hanover County, Virginia.
We know that William died before 1789 because, in March of that year, wife Ann appears on the tithes list for St. Paul's Parish, Hanover County as a single woman owning one slave and two horses. The land tax information for the same year shows Ann as the landowner. Ann died after 1800, the last time she is found on the tithes list.
