He married Catherine, daughter of Hector McSween, of Beaver Cove. Issue: — Ann, Bessie, James, Mary, Roderick, Mary, Archie, Ronald, and Lucy.

Ronald taught school for some years before he settled in the homestead. For many years, he has been employed by the County to look after the fumigating and cleaning of houses where contagious diseases had developed. He is married to Ann, daughter of John McNeil (James), Glasgow.

Issue: — Joseph R., Katie A., Archie, John, John H., Roderick F., Michael, Mary Isabella, Annie May, Dan Murdock.
o Joseph R. married Mary Agnes, daughter of John J. Farrell. He resides at New Aberdeen.
o Katie Ann married Alex N. McNeil, New Aberdeen.
