Peter McNeil, and his Descendants.
This man was a native of Barra. It appears that he was one of the last immigrants that came to this parish, because there was not a lot of land available for him but a sterile one on the bleak side of the mountain above the Barra Fall, Rear Big Beach.
He was married to Catherine, daughter of Michael McNeil, of Barra. Issue: — Neil, James, Angus, and Michael.
Neil settled at Grand Narrows at first, and then moved to N. S. East Bay. He married Ann, daughter of Neil McDonald, (Soldier) Grand Narrows. Issue: — Peter, Rory, Ann, and Catherine.
