Ann is married to Hector J. McNeil. carpenter.

From page #086 "History of Christmas Island Parish":

Hector J. is a good carpenter. He and his cousin, the late Big Hector McNeil, used to work together, and it would have been a hard task to find anywhere two better carpenters. All the better buildings of this district were built by them. Hector J. settled at Piper’s Cove, and married Ann, daughter of John McNeil (Norman). This good couple had no family of their own, but they brought up four adopted children.
