He settled at Rear Big Beach, and married Mary, daughter of Ben McNeil. Issue; Michael, Rory, Kenneth, Sarah, Katie, Elizabeth, Ann, Christie, and Mary.

Edward McNeil - “Iomhar,” and his Descendants at Benacadie Glen and Other Places.

He was married to Catherine, daughter of John McKinnon, (Iain Og). Issue: — John, Jonathan, Rory, Donald, Mary, Sarah, Peggy, Mary, Lizzie, and Sarah— “Mor Og”.

After living in the Glen for many years, "Rory Edward," as he was called, moved with his family to Rear of Big Beach and settled on the land of his wife's father. He was married to Ann, daughter of Neil McNeil (Michael).

Issue: - Mary, Elizabeth, Katie, Peggie, Edward, John, Michael, and John (Beag).
