Donald McNeil “Domhnaal MacDomhnaill”
Like all the other first settlers of Christmas Island front lands, Donald McNeil came first to Pictou, and from there to Christmas Island. He was married to Mary, daughter of John McNeil (MacMhurchaidh).

Issue: — Mary, Catherine, Margaret, Christie, Donald, Allan, Sarah, John, Rory, Ann.

Rory and Ann were drowned while crossing the ice from Christmas Island to Grass Pond.
