About Ann Smith
Not the same as Annes Pynchon
Ann Pynchon was born say 1618, daughter of WILLIAM & Anne (Andrew) PYNCHON. She married Henry Smith by about 1635
Anne married by about 1635 to Henry Smith.[2][1] Henry was remembered in William Pynchon's will as "my son Master Henry Smith." Henry was not only step-son, but also a son-in-law, as Henry married to his step-sister, Anne Pynchon, the daughter of William Pynchon and his first wife, Anne (Andrew).[1]
Henry wrote his will on 1 August 1681, and it was proved on 24 October 1682 at Wraysbury, Buckinghamshire, England.[2]
Anne survived her husband.[2] She also returned with him in 1652 to Wraysbury, Buckinghamshire, England, so she is assumed to have died there.
They had 12 children: Ann/Hannah Allyn, Elisha, Mary, Martha Cammock, Mary Lord Hooker, Elizabeth, Margaret, Sarah, Margaret, Rebecca Lee, Samuel, & Abigail.
