Anna Elizabeth Bellendir

Annie Elizabeth Bellendir, 75, of LaSalle and formerly of Iliff, died Friday, April 30, 2004, in Greeley.

Visitation is Tuesday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Tennant Funeral Home, with vigil and rosary service to follow immediately. Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, May 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Iliff, with Rev. Jim Baird officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Bellendir was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Iliff to Phillip and Mary (Schwindt) Zink. She grew up and attended school in Iliff.

She married Andrew Bellendir on Jan. 10, 1949, at St. Catherine's in Iliff.

Mrs. Bellendir worked for the RE-1 school district. She volunteered at the Iliff Head Start, was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and St. Anne Circle, and enjoyed needlepoint and gardening. She moved to LaSalle in August of last year.

She is survived by sons Andrew Bellendir and wife Kathy, of Gilcrest, Ken Bellendir and wife Marlene, of Brush, Dan Bellendir, of Kihei, Hawaii, Rick Bellendir, of LaSalle, Jim Bellendir, Tom Bellendir and wife Suzie, and Jerry Bellendir and wife Jackie, all of Greeley; daughter Sherri Szabo and husband Dan, of Brighton; brothers Albert Zink and Robert Zink, both of Iliff, and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Andrew; brothers Phil and Joe Zink; sisters Marie Helbert and Rosella Schneider; and granddaughter Lindsey.

Memorials may be made to St. Catherine's Catholic Church, care of Tennant Funeral Home, Box 1547, Sterling, CO.
