MRS ANTON BERGLUND Laid at Rest Wed Jun 15.

As a shock to the entire community came the news that Mrs Anton Berglund of the township of Lund had suddenly passed away at her home on Sunday, Jun 11. Together with her family she had attended the morning worship at the Christine Lake Church, and while standing outside of the church after the close of the service she was suddenly taken violently ill and died a few hours later as the result of a stroke.

Mrs Berglund, nee Anna Rebecca Wahlin, was born February 21, 1895 in the Township of Lund, Douglas County, Minnesota. She had reached an age of 44 years, 4 months, and 20 days. On June 2, 1923 she was united in marriage to Mr Anton Berglund, also of the township of Lund. To this union was born two children, Gloria Gevevieve, now age 15, and Mary Anne, age 4. She has been preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband, Mr Anton Berglund and the two daughters, Gloria and Mary Anne, her brothers -- Carl Wahlin of Fosston, MN, Fritz Wahlin of Rindahl, MN, and Hans Wahlin of Maple Bay, MN. and her sisters, Mrs Victor Miliander of Winger, MN and Mrs Gust Berglund of Evansville.

Mrs Berlund was a life-time member of the Christine Lake Lutheran Church, having been received as an infant in Baptisma on March 14, 1895, and as a communicant member by confirmation on June 19, 1910. She was a kind Christian woman, and her passing will be deeply mourned by all who knew her. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 14 at 1:30 o'clock from the home and 2 o'clock from the Christine Lake Lutheran Church, with Pastor S L Swenson, officiating. Interment was made in the Christine Lake Lutheran church cemetery.
