OBITUARY for ANNA RACHEL HENCH BERNHEISEL

"Mrs. Anna Rachael Bernheisel, aged 81 years, 3 months and 14 days, whose home was in New Bloomfield, died of hardening of the arteries at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Hutter, in Mechanicsburg, Thursday night ... Mrs. Bernheisel was a daughter of George and Rachael Hackett Hench and was born at Elliottsburg. She was married to Samuel H. Bernheisel, then a resident of Greenpark, latter a merchant in Bloomfield, who died a number of years ago ... was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church ...

Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Harriet Maloney, Bon Air, Pa.; Isadore, Mrs. Charles Williams, Collingswood, N. J.; Anna Mary, Mrs. Edward Tilton, New Orleans, La.; Kathryn, Mrs. Edgar Ertel, Drexel Hill, Pa., and Helen, Mrs. Ray Hutter, Mechanicsburg. A daughter Rachael is deceased, and a son, George Bernheisel, of Van Wirt, Ohio, died last August; also surviving are eight grandchildren; a sister, Miss Della Hench, 93, of Philadelphia, and a brother, Martin Hench, 88 of Camp Hill gburial was in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
