Department of Education, addressed student groups at Whitney Vocational High School today and yesterday. Active in industrial education for girls and women for 50 years, Dr. Burdick now has retired and devotes her efforts to the Lalor Foundation, of which she is president. The First Lady, 1942 yearbook of Whitney High, is dedicated to Dr. Burdick, who is described as the "first lady of vocational education."
