Anna "Ann" Porter Carson was the second of eight children born to John and Mary (Anthony) Porter. Siblings being: William A, Mary Rachel, John, Nathaniel, Oliver, Francis M and Florence Porter.

Anna married Thomas Ewing Carson 3 Oct 1782 in Virginia. There were nine children born to this union. Some information indicates that they were: John Porter, Thomas Ewing, Jr, William Porter, Oliver Porter, Florence Porter, Rachel Porter, Nathanie Porter and Francis Porter Carson.

Note: Childrens’ names are listed the way they were listed in the Henry Hines, Sr book. Don’t think that Francis belongs here... Florence Flora??? They are found other places with different parents. Oliver?? Rachel??? Nathaniel??
Bob Law says that Anna is buried between her husband Thomas Ewing and her son Thomas Ewing.
