About Anna B. Catlin
Anna B ( Churchill ) Catlin was born in Harwinton,Ct ( 1/31/1830 ) . She was the first born of 9 children. She married Charles H Catlin & had 6 children ( 5 boys ). He died in New Orleans in the Civil war & is "buried in souther soil". There is a monument to him in Harwinton's West Cemetery. Anna would spend the next 36 years as a widow, working the farm with the help of her children.
