Anna M. Diem

"Anna M. Diem, 88, of Lititz, passed away on June 29, 2011 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Schoeneck to the late Frank and Elva (Bingeman) Treisch and was the wife of the late Harold Z. Diem, who passed away in 1991 after sharing 45 years of marriage together.

Anna previously worked at Martins Country Market, Ephrata and The Fleet-Air Corporation, formerly of Ephrata. She enjoyed watching the Phillies.

Anna is survived by 2 sons, Donald E., husband of Dianna Diem of Lititz, Jerry L., husband of Vicki Diem of Ephrata; 4 grandchildren, Brett A., husband of Genny Diem of Lititz, Travis R. Diem, partner of Al Sacchetti of Lititz, Jason Santiago of Lancaster, and Brandon Santiago of VA; a great-grandson, Koty Diem; and dear friend, Linda Saylor of Lititz.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Treisch, and sisters, Violet Wike, Pearl Shiffler, and Edith Barringer.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 5, from 9:30 to 10 a.m., at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, followed by her funeral service at 10 a.m., with Rev. Timothy Craven officiating. Interment will follow in the Mellingers Cemetery, W. Cocalico Twp.
