Mrs. Anna I. Elson, 65, of North Thirtieth street, Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at the Research hospital. She was a past president of the Kansas department of the Pythian Sisters and of the auxiliary to the Kansas department of the United Spanish War Veterans. Mrs. Elson was born in Tipton, Ia., and had been a resident of Greater Kansas City thirty-nine years. She was secretary to the manager of the Memorial Park cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Mrs. Elson was a member of the Washington Avenue Methodist church, Mendias chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the auxiliary to the Adams Petersen-Switala post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was an associate matron of the Adah court, Order of Amaranth. Surviving are her husband, Frederick A. Elson of the home; a son, Andrew C. Elson, 1148 Hilltop road; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Long, Beloit, Kas., and a brother, Milton Dickinson, Los Angeles. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Washington Avenue Methodist church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
