Anna Katherine Faust

Mrs. Jacob Faust, nee Anna Krippes, passed away at the Homestead farm on Tuesday evening, November 2, at 5:50 PM. She had been living with her son, Benjamin and family in the town of Schleswig, and had been in failing health for some time.

The deceased was born November 23, 1866 in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Krippes. She became the wife of Jacob Faust on November 23, 1886. Of this union the following children were born: Adam Faust, R. 1, Elkhart Lake; Peter Faust, Sheboygan; Mrs. Joseph (Hilda) Meyers of Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Frank (Rosa) Newmann of New Holstein; Raymond Faust of this city; Benjamin Faust, on the homestead farm in the town of Schleswig; Mrs. George (Lena) Diels of Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Sylvan (Dora) Konz of Sheboygan. One daughter, Veronica, passed away in 1914. Other survivors are 43 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Faust was a member of the St. Joseph Union, the Christian Mothers Society, and the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The rosary will be repeated by the Christian Mothers Society Fiday, November 5, at 7:30 PM in the church.

Funeral sevices will be conducted Saturday morning at 10:00 at the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. F.X. Kheil, Father frederick Dorn and a Savatorian Father of St. Nazianz officiating at the sevices. Burial will be made in the church cemetery, and pallbearers will be grandchildren of the deceased.
