Mrs. Anna Cleland Gallagher died at her home in Cannon City, Thursday, Sept 5, after an illness of several years. The funeral was held at the Little Prairie church, Sunday, Sept 8. Burial was made in the Groveland cemetery.
Mrs. Gallagher was born Aug. 13, 1859, at Ontario, Can, and came to Minnesota in 1866. She was married to Willard Hoover, in Nov, 1879. To them was born a son, Cullen. Mr. Hoover died Oct 13, 1886 She was married to Milford Gallagher in March, 1897 Mrs. Gallagher is survived by her husband at Cannon City, one son, Cullen Hoover, of Decorah, la, her mother, Mrs. Wm Cleland, of this city and by three brothers, Frank of Northfield, Harvey and John of Dundas, also five sisters, Alma Emery of Alberta, Can, Mary Dixcn cf Fort Ripley, Amanda Manuel of Danberry, Wis Jessie Clark of Dunkirk, Mont, and Rowena Simning of Crystal City, Can.
