Anna Marie Hollander

PARDEEVILLE — Ann Marie Hollander, 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2014.

She was born April 26, 1938 in Friesland to Charles and Katie (Westra) DeYoung.

She graduated from Cambria-Friesland High School and Madison Area Technical College. She worked for the Pardeeville Area School District for many years as a secretary to the superintendent, as well as Al Miller’s American Family office, Converter Concepts and AMPI.

Ann was an active member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Pardeeville. She loved making her flower gardens a place of beauty.

She is survived by her children, Becky (John) Boggio of Waukesha, and Todd (Char) Hollander of Center City, Minnesota; grandchildren, Rocco Giovanni and Amy Lee Boggio and Shane Hollander; as well as her siblings, Dorothy (David) Lemmenes, Jeanette Derksen, Arthur (Delores) DeYoung, Frieda (Wyman) Vande Zande, and Hilda (Donald) De Vries; and sisters-in-laws Jessie DeYoung and Helen DeYoung.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Newton DeYoung, Chester DeYoung, John DeYoung and William DeYoung; sisters-in-law, Carol DeYoung and Marty DeYoung; brother-in-law Clarence Derksen; and granddaughter, Kelly Ann Boggio.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Pardeeville with Rev. Chuck Walton officiating. Interment will take place at Friesland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home in Pardeeville. Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church Wednesday.

Special thanks to all who were praying for Ann and her family during her illness. And to those who sent cards to let her know you were thinking of and praying for her. She was overwhelmed by the many who remembered her.
