Brief overview:

Anna (62), who ran a home dairy shop in Zylena Street, Brandfort, was stabbed in the heart, in the store, on 25th May 2012. Two males attacked her at about 15:10 while she was draining milk from a tank. According to Ferdie Jordaan, who owns the shop with his wife, Lizette, the attackers presented themselves as customers.

A neighbour's domestic helper saw one of the men grab Anna by the throat and raised an alarm. After stabbing Anna, they fled with an unknown amount of money. "When my wife went to her and she could still speak, and said two men attacked her. She dies before the doctor arrived,” said Ferdie. Sgt. Police spokesperson Ian Goabete said the attackers were still on the loose at press time last night.

Charges of murder and business robbery are being investigated.
