Anna Marie Hornung Langenbeck

Anna Marie Hornung (30 March 1828 (former Swabia), Wurttemberg (present-day Baden-Wurttemberg), Germany - 24 April 1902 San Francisco, California) married Johann Friedrich Langenbeck (28 August 1814 Harburg, Donau-Reis, Bavaria - 3 December 1903 in San Luis Obispo, California), a German cobbler, at Boston in 1849. After the birth of their son Fredrick in 1863, the family went by ship to Nicaragua, crossed the isthmus on mule-back, and set sail for San Francisco. They arrived in San Francisco on 17 March 1866, later settling in Central California.

5. Frederick Langenbeck (born September 1863 Boston, Massachusetts) married William's widow, Eliza Cord Langenbeck; they had six children together
6. Annie Langenbeck (born circa 1866 Boston, Massachusetts)
7. Minnie Langenbeck (born circa 1868 California - probably died prior to 1870)

From The San Francisco Call Newspaper: LANGENBACK— In this city, April 30, 1902. Marie Langenback, beloved wife of John F. Langenback, and mother of Mrs. E. C. Nlchols, Mrs. H. Beckwith, Mrs. F. Daubenbls, Mrs. J. T. Ransdall, Fred Langenback and Mrs. P. S. Kenvllle. a native of Germany, aged 74 years and 1 day.

Anna's parents are unknown. The names of her siblings were George, Kate, Margaret and Christina. She married Johann Friedrich Langenbeck in 1849 at Boston, Massachusetts.
