Born in East Earl Twp., daughter of the late Moses and Anna Hoover Martin, she was widow of Frank Z. Martin and a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church.

She has 224 survivors including nine children: Anna Mae, at home; Walter, Stella, wife of Stephen Zimmerman, Ephrata R1; Martha, wife of Henry M. Weaver, Lydia, wife of John Zeiset, and Edna, wife of Irvin Gingrich, East Earl R1; Phares and Frank, East Earl, and Alta,wife of Paul Hoover; New Holland R1; 59 grandchildren, 153 great grandchildren, and three sisters, Miss Martha Martin, New Holland R1; Mrs. Amanda Stauffer, Goodville and Mrs. Frances Weaver, East Earl R1.
