Anna Fischer Meier

Anna Fischer Meier, 69, 815 S. Garfield St. died early Monday morning in a local hospital following lengthy illness. Born in South Russia, she moved to Denhoff, N.D. in 1909 and lived there until she came to Lodi and Lockeford area in 1943. She was a member of the Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by husband, Gottfried Meier of Lodi; four sons, Leonard Fischer of Lodi, Paul Fischer of Pinole, Arthur Fischer of Manfred, N.D. and Michael Fischer of Chasley, N.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Vickey Denney of Stockton and Mrs. Ida Reiswig of Lodi; two stepsons, George Meier and Ed Meier, both of Lodi; two step-daughters, Mrs. Katie Lawrence and Mrs. Pauline Hildenbrandt, both of Sacramento; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Servo of Topenish, Wash., Mrs. Bertha Brown of Calument City, Ill., Mrs. Frieda Malmin of Olympia, Wash. and Mrs. Linda Dockter of Bismarck, N.D.; 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
