Obituary
Anna J. Suggs was born on October 4, 1825, and died at her home near Loris SC on December 23rd, 1904. She was married when quite young to Nicholas Prince, who soon died, after which she married William Suggs who also preceded her to the grave. She reared several children children, nine of which are left to mourn their loss. She was a consistent member of the M. E. Church. All who knew her loved her, and was kind in all her sayings, and never tired in giving good advice, both temporal and spiritual.
We were loath to give her up, but she had fulfilled her duty here, and God called her home. Her body was laid to rest in the Princeville Cemetery to await the resurrection morning. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. C. H. McConnal.
