Anna A. Purdom

MRS. ANNIE PURDOM; THE ARCADIAN ARCADIA, FLORIDA 1974;

Mrs. Annie A. Purdom, of Seville, Fla. died two weeks ago in a nursing home in Deland at the age of 97.

Born in Lake County, Mrs. Purdom was formerly of Myakka City, going there about 1915. She was a retired Post-Mistress and store owner. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Seville.

Mrs. Purdom had many friends in Arcadia, as this was her shopping center for many years.

She is survived by a son, Jack Purdom, of Prospect, Paris a foster daughter, Mrs. Ruth (Brown) Albritton, of Myakka City; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one niece, Mrs. Marie Woodsworth, of Daytona Beach.

Funeral Services were held at the Seville Baptist Church on May 6.
