Anna Rappaport

Anna Rappaport was Abraham Shopse's first wife, and his second cousin as well. Two children were born of this union, Bessie, and Zipporah (Zippi). Anna had two brothers, Mendel, and Meyer, the latter was a big "macher" in the Jewish Legion. Anna also had a sister Miriam according to Great Uncle Lou. Uncle Lou also mentioned that Anna's parents were Miasha & Hassa Riva, the latter was a cousin of my great grandmother Pesah Rivka Adirim (mother of Ida Charmetz Koval). According to Bryna Gordon, Anna was known as "the cousin with the glass eye"
