About Anna "Annie" Risch
Born in Saas im Prattigau, Canton Graubünden, Switzerland. Married Martin Risch in 1845. After the death of her husband, she and her children immigrated to the United States in 1866 aboard the ship Allemania.
The Risches initially settled in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. After her children were grown, Anna moved across the Mississippi River to Minnesota.
She lived her last years in Minneiska, Minnesota.
