Anna Roth

Anny came to Israel from Romania at the age of 15 in 1950. She spent some time in Kibbutz Mizra and then lived with her parent in Akko. She joined the Israel Defense Forces at the age of 18. At the age of 19 she married Harry Roth and had two daughters.

She was a wonderful mother, a dedicated wife and daughter who took care of her elderly parents until she moved with her family to Los Angeles in 1968. For years, while her husband worked on the Zim cruise lines she raised her daughters Shula and Lea all by herself. She was a classy lady who loved the theater, opera, ballet and reading. She was always studying. She was a great cook and hostess who always welcomed guests to her home from near and far. She had a strong character and a very positive personality. She died too young at the age of 65. She is terribly missed by her family.
