18 Dec 1919

Hornell Tribune, Dec 18, 1919 (Hornell, Steuben Co, NY)

Mrs. Anna V. Sharp, wife of Charles F. Sharp of No 8 Glen avenue, died shortly before 3 o'clock this morning at her home. Her health has not been good for more than a year and for the last three months her condition has been serious. Mrs. Sharp was born in Big Flats and has lived in Hornell since 1898. She was 62 years old and well known on the eastside. Besides her husband she is survived by two children, Mrs. Clara Granger of this city, and Charles E. Sharp of Sea Breeze, N.Y., and Mrs. Della C. DeGraw of Brooklyn. The funeral announcement will be made later.

Note that there are several errors in the published text:

Anna's name was Anna B. Sharp.
Her surviving sister was Miss Della C. DeGraw.
Anna was probably born in Horseheads rather than Big Flats. Both are in Chemung Co., NY.
