Citation: Find a Grave, database and images (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/22532726/anna-williams : accessed 19 August 2021), memorial page for Anna Fuller Williams (4 Jun 1746–13 Aug 1825), Find a Grave Memorial ID 22532726, citing Bay Path Cemetery, Charlton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA ; Maintained by Fred Saar (contributor 46511066).
Anna was the 3rd daughter and 5th child of Ensign Josiah Fuller & Abigail Williams (both of Newton, Mass.)
She married Benjamin Williams (of Roxbury, Mass.) in Newton on 29 Apr 1766, his second marriage, having lost his wife Elizabeth 3 years before.
They had 4 sons (one which died at 9 yrs old), and one daughter: Smith, b. 15 Nov 1766, d. 2 Apr 1775; Abigail, b. 25 Oct 1768; Ephraim, b. 1 Oct 1770; Isaac, b. 7 Dec 1772; and Oliver, b. 6 May 1774.
Benjamin died a year after the birth of their last son; it is thought that Anna and the children removed from Roxbury shortly after Benjamin's death (and possibly even before), as Roxbury was the scene of constant skirmishes in the early years of the Revolutionary War. As the children matured and dispersed she was more alone. By 1810 she was in Charlton living near her sister-in-law Rachael Williams and all the nieces and nephews, where she resided until her death in Aug. of 1825.
