OBITUARY by The Republican-American (Waterbury, Connecticut) - Thursday, February 2, 2006:
WATERBURY - Anne G. Zemaitis, 89, formerly of 576 Highland Ave., died Friday, Jan. 24, at Waterbury Extended Care in Watertown.
Miss Zemaitis was born Jan. 16, 1916 [1917 per other sources], in Waterbury, daughter of the late George and Catherine (Kilna) Zemaitis. She graduated from Pembroke College at Brown University and was a reporter and editorial writer for the Waterbury Republican and American until retirement. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
She leaves a brother, Joseph Zemaitis, of Tiburon, Calif.
Arrangements: Funeral 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Stokes Funeral Home, 134 Highland Ave., to St. Joseph's Church for Mass at 10:15. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
