24 October 1584: Copy Charter by James Craufurd of Fermes, granting to Ananbel Hammiltoune, his spouse, daughter of James Hammyltoune of Craufurdjohne knight in liferent the 10lib lands of Craufurd-Fermes of old extent with coalheughs lying in the parish of Rutherglen, sheriffdom of Lanark. To be held de me. Rendering therefor two pennies Scots in name of blench ferme. With precept of sasine addressed blank. At Glasgow, 24th October 1584.
