About Annae Juliana Klapperich

Anna Julianna Ackermann was born on July 26th, 1788 in Kaltenborn. There was a note that her parents died before the marriage. Her parents were Johann Ackermann and Anna Maria Jappen. She was married 09 Aug 1808 • Katholisch, Kaltenborn Adenau, Rheinland, Prussia, to Peter Klapperich. Together, they had 8 children.

Their four youngest sons emigrated to the United States. They are unusual in emigrant families in that they settled in different parts of the USA. Johann Servatius Klapperich went to San Francisco. Josef was in Chicago but destination unknown. John Nicholas settled in Chicago, IL. He arrived 20 Jul 1846 on the Ship Adamo, passage from Kaltenborne through Belgium. He is listed with his wife Anna Maria Bootz, and possibly his wife's sister also listed as Anna age 18 and his brother Joseph/Joseph's wife Johanna. Peter Hubert Klapperich married Anna Maria Heid and settled in Michigan. In 1863, Peter Hubert was in White Pigeon, St Joseph, Michigan, USA, listed in commercial directory as Saloon operator previously grocery in 1860 census.
