About Anne Bacon Anne Butts was born circa 1548.1 She was the daughter of Edmund Butts and Anne Bures.2 She married Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt., son of Sir Nicholas Bacon and Jane Fernley, in 1564.1 She died on 19 September 1616.1 She was buried at Redgrave, Suffolk, England.2 From 1564, her married name became Bacon.1
