KATHERINE HAMILTON
Katherine Hamilton is the daughter of James Hamilton of Torrance and his wife Katherine Hamilton. He parents were married in about 1561 and it follows that she was probably born after this date. She married Reverend James Hamilton, Minister of the Gospel at Hamilton. He died on 28 October 1648 and she had a grant of £100 from the Scottish Parliament in 1661.
