ANNE WOOD MALES Anne Wood Males, 76, of Pahrump, Nev., died Nov. 3, 2015. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Charles (passed 1985) & Dorotha Larimer (passed Oct. 24, 2015) {Note: This is incorrect. Her mother was Eleanor Rose Moreland]. She was educated in Iowa public schools. She was married to Joe Wood (passed 1979) and Thad Males (passed 2012). She had two sons, Darrell Wood and Michael Wood (passed 2001). Anne was employed by Bally's Resort for 25 years and after moving to Pahrump, she owned several businesses including The Sweet Shoppe & Anne's Boutique. She was an active member of Eastern Star Chapter 32, Moose Lodge #1141, and Miss Senior Golden Years. Anne loved socializing, gardening, traveling, and shopping, you could find her and her little dog Gadget all over town. Anne is survived by her sister, Jeannie Kluesner of W. Des Moines, Iowa; son, Darrell and his wife Sherrie of Henderson, Nev.; her daughter-in-law Mickey Wood of Davie, Florida; grandchildren: Christine, Jennifer, DJ, Julya, Kyle, Ashley; great-grandchildren: Journey, Pierce, Connor, Bella, Jackson, Lucas, Zach, Aaron, Mila; great-great-granddaughter: Bella Marie; many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Her memorial service will be held on November 21, 2015 at 1:30 pm at the Masonic Lodge 281 E. Gemini Drive, Pahrump, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ASPCA (aspca.org).
