    • "Obituary of Anne Ludlow Kinney
    • "The Reverend Anne Ludlow Kinney, 97, of Parkersburg passed into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Madison Center of Morgantown.
    • "She was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Lewis M. Ludlow and Harriet McKain Ludlow.
    • "She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1936 and Chatham College in 1940. She worked for the State Department at the US Embassy in Madrid during the early years of World War II. In 1943 she met the love of her life, David W. Kinney. Their marriage in 1944 lasted for 52 happy years until Dave's death in 1996. She traveled extensively including a trip around the world in 1973. With the encouragement of the Reverend Frank Wade, Anne pursued active ministry at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd and was ordained an Episcopal priest in 1983. She was especially gifted at ministering to shut-ins and providing the sacrament of holy communion to the sick.
    • "Anne loved music and was very active in mentoring the junior choir at church. She treasured her life on High Ridge Farm where she loved raising cows, feeding birds, awaiting each year the arrival of her beloved daffodils, and sharing these interests with family and friends. After a fall in 2008, she spent the remainder of her life at the Madison Center.
