Anne Speake Marks
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Anne Speake Marks, 78, of Athens was to be today at 3:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Marks died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at her home. She was born Aug. 16, 1923, in Morgan County to Fred Marshall Speake and Vera Elena Watterson Speake. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Athens.
Survivors include her husband, Wesley Marks; one son, Ed Kimbrough of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Kaye Kimbrough Martin of Sheffield; one brother, Joe Speake of Hartselle; and one sister, Gladys Glasscock of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were to be John Glasscock, David Glasscock, David Marks, Charles Speake, Bobby Speake and Art Glasgow.
