Notes
Terrill/Terrell Descendants from Early VA Immigrants, by John Wayland Terrell, Jr states: BIO: Ann Terrell, "Reputed Child", received a gift of slave(s) from her father, John Terrell, on July 7, 1764, recorded August Court 1764.
She married William Martin.
(daughter Ann(e), wife of William Martin)
The approximate date of William Martin's birth can be calculated from the following abstract taken from the cited reference:
3182. Martin: D. on the 12 ult., Mr. William Martin, aged 79, for forty two years a citizen of Wake County. RM Fri 2 Aug 1811 3:4 ____. . . . aged 84. . . . RaNCSw Fri 19 Jul 1811 115:4. Apparently, the earlier notice must have shown his age incorrectly (84 rather than 79 years.)
Apparently, Ann Terrell must have died prior to the date of William Martin's Will, dated 10 May 1811, as she is not mentioned therein.
