About Anne Grierson

Ann Musgrave was born on 4 July 1676 at Washington, County Durham, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Richard Musgrave, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy James.1 She married Sir William Grierson of Lag, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Grierson of Lag, 1st Bt. and Lady Henrietta Douglas, on 1 September 1720 at Aspartria, Cumberland, England.1,2 She died on 17 December 1749 at age 73 at Rockall, Collin, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.3,4 From 1 September 1720, her married name became Grierson.1
