About Anne White
Anne Gray, daughter of Andrew Gray of Hinxworth, was the first wife of Sir Richard White IV. She had at least one son (probably died young), one daughter, Mary, married in 1632 in a secret Catholic ceremony to Sir Robert Brett of Whitstanton, Somerset, and arguably a second daughter who may have been the ambiguous Frances White Wells.

Note: the Frances White who married John Petre was NOT her daughter, but the daughter of Lady Catherine Weston. It was a not uncommon practice at this period to give the same name to siblings born of different mothers - or occasionally the same mother.
