Asher Apte was born in Czestochowa, Poland in 1893 to Khaim and Gitel nee Plakht. He was a worker and married to Feigel nee Walkowicz. Prior to WWII he lived in Czestochowa, Poland. During the war he was in Czestochowa, Poland.

Asher was murdered in the Shoah (according to this source).
