Information from The Petersburg Times (FL) - Wednesday, September 16, 1987: BARUTA, ANTHONY, 92, of Tampa, died Tuesday (Sept. 15, 1987). Born in Lithuania, he had lived in Tampa since 1978, coming from Scranton, Pa. He was a retired coal miner and a Roman Catholic. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Isabelle; four sons, Anthony Jr., Michigan, Robert and Joseph, both of Tampa, and Thomas, New Jersey; and six grandchildren. A.P. Boza Funeral Home, Town & Country Chapel.
