• COMMENTS; In Daniel Cushing's record of early Norfolk emigrants we find: "1635. Mr. Anthony Cooper with his wife and 4 sons and 4 daughters and 4 servants, came from Old Hingham, and settled in New Hingham 14" [NEHGR 15:25]. The list of children above is based on this accounting, and assumes that all of the children of the first wife were still alive in 1635, even though no record of them is found in New England.
