About Antoon Hanenberg

Anton Hanenberg, who lives in Melrose township, while going home with a load of coal last week, was overtaken by Jacob Croemans near Marten's crossing, and Croeman's in passing frightened Hanenberg's team, which ran away and knocked Hanenberg down, the loaded wagon passing over his legs. The injured man was found some hours afterward, where he had fallen, and on being taken home it was found necessary to amputate both limbs.
