Della Watson, 78 of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Talco, died on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant Healthcare. She was born February 23, 1937 in Cuthand, Texas, the daughter of Rev. Orvis and Mamie Wheeler Denny.

On February 3, 1953 she married Pat Watson in Paris, Texas. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bogata.

Her survivors include her husband, Pat Watson of Mt. Pleasant; one son, Patrick Watson and wife, Sheryl of Deport; one daughter, Della Ann Clemens and husband, Sam of Gilmer; two brothers, Gene Denny and wife, Ida of Portland, Oregon and Donnie Denny and wife, Sandy of Austin; seven grandchildren, Grant Watson, Clifton Watson, Ashley Thomas, Colton Phipps, Daniel Phipps, Carlie Thomas and Jordan Watson and three great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Watson, Tucker Watson and Addyson Phipps.

Funeral Services have been scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 2:00pm in the First Assembly of God Church in Bogata with the Reverend Daniel Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery.
