ROHR, Arnold Called home by his Lord Jesus, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Stever). Dear father of Douglas (Susan) and Virginia Berg (Paul). Loved grand-father of Eric and Sarah Berg, Carolyne, Christopher, Timothy, and Gayle Rohr. Predeceased by his parents Barbara and Valentine Rohr, siblings Milton, Russel, William, Violet, Gladys, Louise, Eileen Martin, Edna Shantz, Dorothy Hammer, Hilda Boley, and Lizzie Scharman. Arnold worked for 27 years at Werlich Industries in Preston and 25 years at Uniroyal in Kitchener. He will be remembered for his gentle demeanor, putting others first, being family focused, and for his strong work ethic. He was also an avid reader and an accomplished bowler. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. John Dundon and the staff of CCAC and Care Partners. Arnold's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519-749- 8467). The funeral service will be held at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 54 Benton St., Kitchener, on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
