Arthur Lee Fife

DELPHI--A. Lee Fife, 75 of 220 1/2 West Front Street died at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 13 at his residence following a long illness. He was born May 12, 1920 in Carroll County, Indiana. He was a 1938 graduate of Carrollton High School and attended Logansport Business College. He worked for 34 years at the Kenney Implement Dealer in Monticello, Indiana as the parts manager, retiring in 1985. He lived in the Delphi community for the past eight years, moving here from Monticello, Indiana, where he had lived for several years. His marriage was May 31, 1941 in Flora to Lulu M "Lou" Fisher. She survives. He served in the Army Air Force in World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre at Guadal Canal. Mr. Fife was a member of the Delphi Christian Church and the Delphi American Legion Post 75. His wife is the only immediate survivor.
