Obituary published in "The Brisbane Courier" of Friday 12 January 1923:
"SOUTH COAST. TWEED HEADS AND COOLANGATTA. The Late Mr. A. H. Kerr. The death of Mr. Arthur Henry Kerr a well-known resident of Tweed Heads and Coolangatta, occurred on Monday morning. Deceased, who was 62 years of age, became ill on Christmas Day. The funeral cortege was a lengthy one, and many beautiful wreaths were sent, including one from the Methodist Sunday School, of which deceased was the superintendent, The deceased was the second son of the late Mr. Finlay Kerr, Bellinger River, and his brothers are Messrs. Finlay (Nana Glen); Herbert (Kingaroy), and Robert Kerr (Tweed Heads). Mrs. J. T. Boultwood (Coffs Harbour) is a sister, and three unmarried sisters reside at Nana Glen. "
