Word was received in this city today that Arthur J. Light, a former resident of Lebanon, died shortly after 8 o'clock Saturday morning at his home at 1714 Fourth Street, Altoona, of a brief illness of pneumonia. Mr. Light had been employed by the city in the water department and previous to this city employment was employed at the Altoona car shops. He was married to Bertha E. Shaffer in this city in 1903, and leaves to survive the following children: Roy S. Light, Blanche G. Light, both at home; Harold A. Light, of Juniata, and Mrs. Lowell Morrow, of Forrest Grove, Oregon. A brother, Lemuel G. Light, of Lebanon, and a sister, Mrs. Jerry Hileman, of Burlingame, Calif., also survive. Mr. Light was a member of the First United Brethren church, the Junior Mechanics 472 and the American Brotherhood of Railway Carmen 775. It was learned that funeral services will be held at the home in Altoona, tonight and the body will be brought to this city, Tuesday morning, where short funeral services will be held at the home of Lemuel Light, 918 Maple Street, at 3 o'clock Tuesday.
