Authur (or Arthure), only son of Agnes & John 'Snowshoe' (Thompson) Torsteinson.

"John was a very good father and he could hardly wait to take his son snowshoeing. He made a cradle for the baby out of a sluice box and for Authure's first Christmas, (John) made him a tiny pair of snowshoes".*

Authur died at age 11 years, of Diphtheria.
